在這次拍攝中，我選擇了香港的經典大排檔作為背景，並搭配現代設計的旗袍，創造出有趣的視覺構圖。對於許多香港人來說，大排檔是一種集體回憶和情感聯繫，讓人既感受到傳統的溫度，也能體驗到現代的風采。
在溫哥華重現香港風情

In cheongsam photography, I’m not just capturing a garment; I’m interpreting a rich history and style. “Timeless elegance, modern flair” embodies this concept — where tradition and modernity intertwine, allowing the cheongsam to showcase both classic grace and contemporary fashion. It’s not merely about “preserving the old”; it’s a process of breaking boundaries and reimagining them. By honoring the cheongsam’s traditional beauty while adding modern creativity, this timeless attire becomes an art form that is both classic and modern.
For this shoot, I chose Hong Kong’s iconic Dai Pai Dong (food stalls) as the backdrop, pairing it with a contemporary Hong Kong-style cheongsam. This unique visual composition highlights the contrast between heritage and modernity. For many Hong Kongers, the Dai Pai Dong is a collective memory and emotional bond, evoking the warmth of tradition while presenting a touch of modern elegance.

Since moving to Vancouver, I’ve discovered countless locations that are perfect for cheongsam photography.
