This agreement confirms the photography service booked by the Client and the terms that apply to the booking.

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% booking fee is required to reserve your date and is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the edited images.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellation

If the Client cancels the booking, the 50% booking fee remains non-refundable.

If the Client or Photographer needs to reschedule due to inclement weather, the session may be rescheduled without any additional fee. Notice of rescheduling must be given at least 2 days in advance.

3. Photo Editing & Delivery

The final images will be selected and edited by the Photographer in the Photographer's artistic style.

Basic colour, exposure and image adjustments are included. Retouching, including skin smoothing or body-shape modification, is not included unless otherwise agreed.

Final images will be delivered as 1200 × 1800 pixel JPEG files at 300 ppi.

RAW or unedited files are not provided.

4. Copyright & Use of Photographs

The Photographer retains the copyright to all photographs created during the service.

The Client may download, share on social media, print and otherwise use the photographs for personal, non-commercial use, including sharing them with family and friends.

The Photographer may use the photographs for editorial, advertising, portfolio, website and social media purposes.

5. Travel & Additional Expenses

Travel within Metro Vancouver is included in the photography fee.

Additional travel fees may apply for remote or out-of-area locations. Any additional travel fee will be discussed with the Client in advance.

Parking, studio rental, destination or location fees, permits and other expenses required for the session are the Client's responsibility.

6. Limit of Liability

Unexpected situations such as serious illness, accidents, equipment failure, data loss, venue restrictions or severe weather can occasionally occur.

If an unexpected situation prevents the Photographer from providing the service, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement or another solution.

If the Photographer is ultimately unable to provide the service, the Photographer's liability will be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the affected service, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Let's Keep It Simple & Enjoy

Photography should be an enjoyable experience, and things don't always go exactly according to plan.

I will always do my best to communicate clearly, take good care of your photographs and deliver work that reflects the style you chose me for.
