我的攝影與旗袍故事
我出生於香港，一個充滿活力的城市。成長於此，我學會了擁抱周圍的動態變化，迅速適應任何情況。年輕時我在墨爾本生活了十年，這段時間讓我學會了放慢腳步，欣賞生活中的細節。現在，我定居於溫哥華，這又是一座美麗的多元文化城市。曾在不同的地方生活過，這些體驗深刻地塑造了我對攝影的理解和表達。

作為一名香港人，我經常對自己的身份感到迷茫。我屬於許多世界，但沒有一個地方能真正讓我扎根。透過攝影，我找到了表達自己文化傳承的方式，經常將旗袍的優雅融入到我的作品中。

旗袍在我心中佔了特別的位置。它不僅僅是一件衣服，更是一種活生生的文化表達。深被它的優雅吸引，我曾向旗袍師傅們學習，了解到傳承這門手藝的重要性。

自2016年以來，我一直為個人、情侶和婚禮拍攝，並不時將旗袍引入我的拍攝中。每一次拍攝對我來說，都是一次與我的根源聯繫的機會，將古典優雅與現代生活結合。現在，我還為客人提供定制旗袍服務，讓她們更能體驗到這份魅力和永恆感。

無論是簡短的小型拍攝還是一整天的婚禮拍攝，我都全心投入每一刻。對我來說，攝影並不在於奢華或堆砌，而是展現你的本真，讓你的內在光芒閃耀。

通過我的鏡頭和手藝，我希望能夠傳承傳統，同時真實且美麗地捕捉每一位被攝者的獨特氣質。

I was born in Hong Kong, a city alive with energy and spontaneity. Growing up there, I learned to embrace the dynamic shifts around me, adapting quickly to whatever came my way. In my youth, I lived in Melbourne for a decade where it taught me to slow down, to appreciate the finer details of life. Now, I'm settled in Vancouver, another beautiful city where cultures blend seamlessly. Living in such different places has deeply shaped my approach to photography.

As a Hong Konger, I’ve often wrestled with questions of identity. I belong to many worlds, yet I’m not fully anchored in any. Through photography, I’ve found a way to express my heritage, often incorporating the timeless elegance of the cheongsam into my work.

The cheongsam holds a special place in my heart. It’s more than just a garment; it’s a living expression of our culture. Captivated by its grace and history, I sought out cheongsam masters, learning from them the importance of preserving this craft.

Since 2016, I’ve been photographing individuals, couples, and weddings, frequently introducing the cheongsam into my sessions. Each photoshoot offers me a chance to connect with my roots, blending old-world elegance with the modern world. Today, I also offer custom-made cheongsams to my clients, allowing them to experience the same charm and timelessness that have become so central to my work.

Whether it’s a mini-session or a full-day wedding, I pour my heart into every moment. To me, photography is not about luxury or excess; it’s about revealing your essence and allowing your true self to shine.

Through my lens and craftsmanship, I hope to honor heritage while capturing the true spirit of each person I photograph — authentically, beautifully, and timelessly.
