Cheongsam Rental Agreement

Thank you for choosing to rent a handmade cheongsam from Ray.
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Rental Period and Fee

  • Rental fee is $150 (tax included) for a 48-hour period.
    (For example: If your dress is delivered at 9:00 AM on Jan 1, it must be returned no later than 9:00 AM on Jan 3)

  • The rental includes the cheongsam, hanger, and garment cover. Please return all items together.

2. Payment and Deposit

  • To hold the dress, a $20 non-refundable deposit (e-transfer) is required.

  • Upon delivery, please pay $200 cash in total:

    • $130 for dress rental

    • $70 refundable security deposit

  • The $70 deposit will be returned once the dress is received back in good condition.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the Delivery Date to receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the delivery are non-refundable.

4. Dress Care

  • Do not clean or wash the dress yourself — Ray will handle all dry cleaning.

  • Please take care when wearing the cheongsam, as each piece is handmade.

5. Damage, Stains, and Loss

  • If we find permanent stains (those that cannot be removed through dry cleaning), a $500 replacement charge will apply.

  • If you damage the dress, do not attempt to repair it.

    • Minor repairs (e.g. sewing a button, small stitching) will be covered by us at no cost.

    • If the damage is significant and the dress cannot be restored to a suitable condition, a $500 replacement charge will apply.

  • If the dress is lost, a $500 replacement charge will apply.

6. Late Returns

  • A late return fee of $75 per day will apply for each day beyond the agreed return time.

7. Agreement

  • By renting the cheongsam, you agree to the terms stated above.

  • Please handle the dress with care and enjoy your cheongsam experience.
